Upon arrival at the Windhoek international Airport you will be met and transferred to the Windhoek Luxury where you will be staying for the first night of your exciting Namibian safari. En route to the hotel you will be treated to an orientation city tour of Windhoek by your guide. Dinner tonight is included and it can be had at one of Windhoek's many famous restaurants in town with your guide.

After breakfast this morning your personal guide will collect you from the guesthouse for the start of your adventure. You set off south along the western side of the Kalahari Desert via Rehoboth and Mariental, and then on to your accommodation at Kalahari Anib Lodge. You will stop off for lunch at a scenic location along the way. In the late afternoon you have the choice of joining the game drive offered by the lodge or relaxing.

After breakfast you will set of to the Fish River Canyon, the second largest canyons in the world after the Grand Canyon in Arizona. En route, stop over for lunch. This afternoon your guide will take you to visit the canyon.
The spectacular Fish River Canyon is the second largest canyon in the world. After two waterfalls, which are only active upstream during the rainy season, the Fish River plunges into its canyon which is, in total, about 160 kilometres long, up to 27 km wide and in places almost 550 meters deep. The gorge ends at the hot springs resort of Ai-Ais.

After breakfast you will set off for the coastal town of Lüderitz leaving behind the heat. En route travel along the peninsula to visit Dias Point and the surrounding areas. At Lüderitz take in the sights, including the colorful Jugendstil architecture and notable building such as the historical Goerke House and the Felsenkirche (Church on the Rock). At the end of the day you will return to the comforts of your guesthouse to freshen up before dinner.

Today, before leaving for Sesriem, you will be treated to a fascinating excursion into the Sperrgebiet prohibited area to visit the historic site of Kolmanskop.The guided tour will give you an insight into the rich history of diamond mining in Namibia and the rise and fall of Kolmanskop, as well as an idea of what everyday life in these settlements would have been like. After your guided excursion there will be time to wander around the desolate streets and abandoned building before leaving the coast and making your way north into the Namib Desert. From Aus you head north through spectacular scenery of the Tiras Mountain rise of the Conservancy and a section of the Namib Rand Nature Reserve before entering the Namib Naukulft National Park to reach Sossusvlei Lodge in the late afternoon.

Prepare for a full day of photography as you rise early this morning for a magical excursion into the dunes with your guide. As you are already inside the park you can get into Sossusvlei before sunrise and even be able to capture the dunes whilst the light is soft and shadows accentuate their towering shapes and curves.
This area boasts some of the highest free standing sand dunes in the world. Your guide will give you an insight into the formation of the Namib Desert and its myriad of fascinating creature and plants that have adapted to survive these harsh environments. Once you have explored the area to your heart's content you can enjoy a relaxed picnic breakfast in the shade of a Camel thorn tree. Stop off at Sesriem Canyon before leaving the Namib Naukluft Park behind.
The fascinating drive today takes you northwest through the awesome and ever changing desert landscapes of the Namib Naukluft National Park, including the impressive Gaup and Kuiseb Canyon. You aim to reach Swakopmund in the afternoon where you can enjoy the pleasant seaside location and cooler air. There should be time this afternoon to wander around town and along the waterfront on foot if it appeals, before heading off to dinner.

After breakfast your guide will take you to visit the Moon landscape and Welwitschia Mirabilis, called a living fossil and one of the oldest living plants on Earth. We return to Swakopmund just in time for lunch. You have the afternoon free to wander around town and along the waterfront.

Today you travel northwards along the coastline, stopping over to view the Zaira Shipwreck before turning inland. The journey to Damaraland boasts eye catching scenery including the Brandberg Mountain. The Brandberg is the highest mountain in the country at a height of 2473 metres and home to the famous White Lady painting, done by the nomadic San tribes.
Travel inland to the UNESCO Heritage site of Twyfelfontain to views the engravings done by the early inhabitants of the San tribes. The area houses over 2500 engravings which are between 2000 and 6000 years old. You will also visit the Organ Pipes and Burnt Mountain in the same area.

After breakfast travel east through the town of Khorixas, and stop for lunch in the town of Outjo, gateway to Etosha. Enter the Park through Anderson Gate and commence with an afternoon game drive in search of wildlife. Return to the camp before sunset and closing of the gates.
Etosha National Park is one of the largest national parks in Africa and world-renowned for its spectacular wildlife. Different unique landscapes and varied vegetation can be found across the park. It is home to a wide variety of animals, incluing lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, giraffe, cheetah, hyena, springbok, zebra, and wildebeest, and more than 340 bird species.

Today after breakfast, enjoy a full day's game drive from sunrise to sunset in search of wildlife in Etosha National Park. Explore the western and the eastern trails of Etosha National Park, visiting waterholes on the way for excellent wildlife photography opportunities. Return to the camp before sunset and closing of the gates. After dinner visit the waterhole, nature's theatre, where thirsty wildlife gathers for a sip of water.
